Program Description:
Australia Internship

The Ultimate Internship Experience

Why spend your summer running for coffee and working the copy machine when you could be experiencing the exciting country of Australia? The Education Abroad Network Internship Program collaborates with top industry leaders in the country and provides students with an all-inclusive internship experience! Take advantage of our connections in Australia, earn credit from your home university, meet new friends and create excellent business contacts during your summer or semester internship abroad! We have several pre-arranged positions in exciting industries like Sports Marketing, Community Development, PR, Physical Therapy or Business Consulting. Many of our positions are long-standing exclusive arrangements with TEAN in much sought-after Australian and international organizations. While we have placed interns in a range of academic and professional disciplines, not all areas might be available.

Internship Program Highlights

  • Full-time internship for a semester or during the summer
  • A dedicated Internship Program Manager works with interns throughout the entire internship placement process, answering any questions or concerns
  • We work closely with internship team abroad and with the students throughout the placement process
  • Optional academic credit obtainable through your U.S. university
  • Internship locations are dependent on the placement in various Australian locations
  • Convenient, comfortable, and fully furnished housing options available in all internship locations
  • Comprehensive 3-day orientation upon arrival, including an introduction to business and cultural protocol, city walking tour, and a welcome dinner
  • TEAN Resident Director based in each major city to support interns culturally, professionally, and personally throughout their entire stay in Australia

"Say yes to life. These four words sum up my experience in Australia, and it would have been impossible without TEAN. Being alone on the other side of the world changed me for the better, made me more confident, and I will always have a place in my heart for TEAN and Sydney, even more so for the friends I made there. I had an opportunity to fulfill my dreams and work for a professional sports team, but that's only a drop in the bucket compared to the experiences and memories I have from Sydney. The opportunity to do something unheard of was presented to me at the beginning of my sophomore year, and I could not have predicted the impact it has made on my life."
Chris McConnell, Michigan State University
