 PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Blessing Hospital

In collaboration with Chikondi Health Foundation and Blessings Hospital, students will work with lab techs in Malawi, Africa, as part of this study abroad program. Students will work alongside an American surgical team that services mobile clinics and rural hospital settings, and students will also visit the national hospital, blood bank, and school of health science.

This experience allows students to engage other cultures in a professional environment and work with children at an orphanage on the campus with the hospital. Students will be able to interact with ongoing medical care seen in an African country with opportunities for coopera

dishes and American favorites. We have wonderful Malawian coffee and tea ordered straight from the plantation. Accommodations can be made for any dietary needs or for persons with CPAP machines. The accommodation is supplied with its own water system and full generator backup.
